OUR METHODS
CONSTRUCT:
MIX AND MATCH:
ONE STORY - CROSS-MEDIA
The new journalist is affluent in multimedia, with the help of a smartphone, and news are made in packages of text, images, video, sound, info-graphics.
WITNESS THE CITY:
POST NOW, CURATE LATER
Immediacy is the new keyword for the journalist. The journalist crowd-sources the making of news. Eye-witness photographs, tweets in social media break the news, while the internet offers journalists new platforms to curate the information later.
CROWD-SOURCING:
Every semester, we go on a trip in the city to bring attention to a cultural or social issue. Our tweet storm brings immediacy and presence to the topics of the city.
We Tweet and Cover-it-live – then, curate and Storify
LIKE AND SHARE: AUDIENCE IS THE USER
News spread through social media. The new journalist is available and responsive to the audience and enjoys co-creation of news, and his credibility depends on how much his work is clicked or shared.
